St Ives Shanty Shout 2025

The St Ives Shanty Shout returns to Cornwall on 21–22 November 2025, filling the town with the sound of traditional sea shanties. Across the weekend, pubs, cafés, hotels and other venues in the heart of St Ives will host shanty groups from Cornwall and beyond, creating a lively maritime atmosphere in every corner of the town.

This free community event is organised in support of the Edward Hain Centre, raising funds to continue its health and wellbeing services. Visitors can enjoy performances in multiple venues, all within walking distance, making it easy to move between acts and soak up the festival spirit. Whether you’re a long-time shanty fan or just looking for a fun and authentic Cornish experience, St Ives Shanty Shout is a highlight of the winter calendar.
