Weston‑super‑Mare Carnival 2025 (Somerset Guy Fawkes)

One of the brightest nights in Somerset, the Weston-super-Mare Carnival returns with an illuminated procession of extravagant floats, marching bands, fancy dress walkers and performers. Starting at 7pm from Locking Road car park and finishing along the seafront, this free event draws thousands of spectators from across the country. All profits go to local charities and the carnival clubs spend nearly a year preparing the large carts and displays in secret, adding a rivalrous flair to each year’s theme.
