SUMMARY:Spring Collective Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Elaine Foster-Gandey Art is delighted to present a three-week Spring Collective Exhibition\, celebrating the colours\, textures and gentle movement that mark the arrival of the new season. \nRunning from Friday 27th March to Friday 17th April\, the exhibition brings together a curated group of contemporary artists working across painting\, textiles\, photography and mixed media. Inspired by the renewal and energy of spring\, the works reflect shifting light\, vibrant colour palettes and tactile surfaces that echo the rhythms of growth and transformation in the natural world. \nAmong the featured artists is Anne Blackwell-Fox\, whose striking paintings of trees and landscapes capture the strength and quiet beauty of nature. Landscape continues as a theme in the atmospheric oil paintings of Rachel Hardy and Rosie French\, known for her expressive works inspired by the Rame Peninsula. \nTextile and mixed-media practices are strongly represented throughout the exhibition. Catherine Blunden presents woven pieces including landscapes\, while Tracey Attfield shows free-flow machine embroidery depicting animals alongside her paintings. Elaine Foster-Gandey exhibits textiles and paintings inspired by birds and people\, exploring movement and character through layered surfaces and colour. Sara Thomas contributes vibrant textile pieces and handmade lampshades\, and Mary Toon\, a multidisciplinary artist working across mixed media\, presents figurines and multi media pieces in 2D and 3D forms. \nThe exhibition also features abstract works by Kathryn Smith including her popular cards and Kymberley Robinson\, also with cards and prints alongside the multidisciplinary practice of Heidi Swire\, who works across painting\, textiles and photography. Wendy Rylance presents paintings of surfers and landscapes\, as well as a selection of her popular cards. \nThe exhibition opens with a Private View on Friday 27th March\, offering visitors the opportunity to meet the artists and celebrate the launch of the show. Over the past year\, Elaine Foster-Gandey Art has established itself as a growing destination within Cornwall’s arts scene\, known for its vibrant exhibitions and welcoming\, inclusive ethos. \nVenue: \nElaine Foster-Gandey Art \n15 Queen St \nLostwithiel\, Cornwall\, PL22 0AH \nDates: \nPrivate View: Friday 27th March\n5-8pm\nDrinks\, Nibbles and Artist Talks \nExhibition: 27th March – 17th April \nOpen every day 10-5pm \nThe venue is wheelchair accessible \nPress Enquiries: \nElaine Foster-Gandey \ne.fostergandey@gmail.com
