Over four days\, from 22nd to 25th May\, world-class musicians will present masterpieces of English music in the beautiful Great Hall in a programme that promises to intrigue. \nThe EMF champions the brilliance\, beauty and rich heritage of English music\, with a particular focus on the Golden Renaissance (C19 – C20). Through its twenty years the EMF has staged world premieres by composers such as Elgar\, Delius\, Holst and Vaughan Williams\, as well as commissioning new works. \nMoving to Dartington Hall\, the EMF brings its mission to a wider audience. The fourteenth-century medieval estate provides a unique experience in an intimate\, historic atmosphere that audiences and artists value highly. For much of the twentieth century\, Dartington was a hub of musical and cultural activity\, and the EMF is delighted to be playing a part in renewing this tradition.

DESCRIPTION:Discovery Festival will no longer take place in 2026 and has been officially postponed until 11 to 13 June 2027. \nFestival organisers announced that\, after exploring all available options with partners and stakeholders\, they had made the difficult decision to move the event to 2027. The three-day festival is now scheduled to take place from Friday 11 June to Sunday 13 June 2027. \nWhat Happens to Existing Tickets? \nAll tickets purchased for Discovery Festival 2026 remain valid for the rescheduled 2027 event\, with no further action required from ticket holders who wish to attend on the new dates. \nAs a thank-you for their support\, organisers have also confirmed that ticket holders who retain their tickets for 2027 will be eligible to receive an additional complimentary festival ticket. Visitors should contact their original point of purchase for details of how to claim the offer. \nCan I Get a Refund? \nYes.
