Set within St Nicholas Priory — the oldest building in Exeter — you will spend two days working with simple hand tools, natural materials and fellow participants in a shared process of making. No previous experience is required. Only curiosity, imagination and a willingness to discover.

Woodcarving asks for something increasingly rare in modern life: undivided attention. As your hands engage with the shape and form of the wood, conversation quietens, thinking becomes clearer and creativity begins to emerge naturally.
