Dartmouth Royal Regatta 2026

The Port of Dartmouth Royal Regatta returns from Thursday 27th to Saturday 29th August 2026, with a Family Fun Weekend on 22–23 August and the Fireworks display set for Saturday 29th August at 9pm. One of the UK’s oldest rowing and sailing events (first recorded in 1822), the Regatta combines high-level competition—rowing, dinghy, pilot gig, keelboat, and yacht races—with riverside entertainment. Highlights include the iconic Regatta River Parade, live music, a raft race, family-friendly activities onshore, and a spectacular backdrop of the River Dart and South Hams coastline. The event is free to attend, supported by public donations and sponsorship.
