Wells City Carnival 2025

Wells City Carnival lights up Somerset with its annual illuminated procession and community celebration. Expect beautifully decorated floats, marching bands, dance acts and music weaving through the medieval streets of Wells starting at 7:00 pm. Part of the Somerset Guy Fawkes Carnival Circuit, this magical evening draws tens of thousands of spectators and is one of the biggest events of its kind. Route features include Strawberry Way, Tucker Street, Chamberlain Street, Sadler Street, High Street, Broad Street and Priory Road.
